Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems
Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning and identify any issues or malfunctions
Troubleshoot electrical problems and perform necessary repairs or replacements
Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget
Provide guidance and support to apprentices or less experienced electricians
Qualifications:
Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician license/certification required
Knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage, fire alarm, conduit bending
Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively and safely
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Robust communication and teamwork skills
