We are seeking enthusiastic and creative Program Instructor(s) to lead engaging activities for adults and older adults in a welcoming and inclusive environment. This is a excellent prospect, ideal for individuals who enjoy sharing their skills, building community, and creating meaningful experiences.

About the Role
Program Instructor(s) are responsible for planning and delivering high-quality programs that encourage participation, social connection, and lifelong learning.

Classes will be ongoing or short-term, depending on interest and availability with sessions typically running over several weeks or months. Classes are typically 90 minutes delivered in person.

Programs are subject to minimum enrollment.

Examples of Programs Include (but are not limited to):
Mah Jongg, Canasta or Bridge lessons
Art classes
Lifestyle and Wellness
Movement-based classes (e.g., yoga, stretching, dance, low-impact fitness)
Educational workshops or hobby-based sessions
Outdoor learning and activities
Culture and heritage (eg., Jewish history, politics, popular culture, cinema, comedy, music)

We welcome new and innovative program ideas—there are no strict limits on subject areas.

Responsibilities:
Design and lead engaging,



well-structured sessions
Create a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment
Adapt programming to meet the needs and abilities of participants
Communicate clearly with participants and coordinators
Manage basic materials and setup (as applicable)

Qualifications:
Experience facilitating group programs, teaching, or leading activities (formal or informal)
Solid interpersonal and communication skills
Passion for working with adults and/or older adults
Reliable, organized, and adaptable
Relevant certifications are an asset (depending on program type)

Compensation:
Compensation is program-dependent and will be discussed based on experience, program type, and structure. Contracts may be arranged as either:
Employee ($20-$50 per hour depending on experience and program), or
Independent Contractor (per session or contract-based fee)

Availability:
Versatile scheduling options are available, including daytime, evenings, and weekends.
