Custodian – Residential | Full-Time

We're hiring a full-time Custodian to help keep our residential communities clean, secure, and welcoming for tenants.

Please note that a Criminal Record Check is required for this role as this is an onsite role. This is paid by for the company.

What You'll Do

Cleaning
Clean and disinfect hallways, lobbies, stairs, and shared spaces
Vacuum, mop, sweep, and scrub floors and common areas
Clean suites between move-outs and move-ins
Empty trash and follow recycling rules
Replace light bulbs as needed

Building Upkeep
Do minor repairs — touch-up painting, drywall fixes
Shovel snow, salt walkways, and keep grounds tidy
Move heavy items (up to 50 lbs)
Run daily safety checks (doors, elevators, smoke alarms)
Track cleaning supplies and inventory

People & Teamwork
Help tenants with requests in a friendly, skilled way
Work with Property Managers and the maintenance team
Coordinate with contractors and trades as needed
Complete all required paperwork

What You Need
Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
1–2 years of cleaning or building maintenance experience
Clear Criminal Record Check
Fluent in English (spoken and written)




Basic Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Teams)
Able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs

Nice to Have
A second language
Knowledge of the BC Residential Tenancy Act
Basic maintenance skills (plumbing, electrical, painting)
Knowledge of workplace health & safety
