Overview

Private family in North Vancouver, Dollarton area seeking a reliable and experienced Home Child Care Provider to care for an infant and a toddler in our home.

Duties
Supervising and caring for children in employer’s residence
Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks
Organizing age-appropriate activities
Maintaining a secure and healthy environment
Light housekeeping related to the children
Accompanying children to/from preschool or activities including drop-ins, libraries, etc.
Must work flexible hours to support family’s shift work schedule, including evenings and weekends with schedule determined 12 weeks in advance
Willing to travel with the family for up to one week at a time to support family’s locum work in underserved communities, up to three times per year

Requirements
Secondary school completion
2+ years of full time childcare experience,



caring for at least two children
Child Care First Aid and CPR certification
Fluent in English, written and spoken
Driver’s license and a clean, protected vehicle suitable for transporting children
Applicants must be non-smokers

Nice to Haves
French or Spanish second language preferred

Criminal record check and driver’s abstract will be required as part of a successful application.

Pay: From $27.00 per hour
