Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Estimating Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating, project management, and negotiation skills.
Duties:
Oversee the estimating process from start to finish
Analyze project plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate pricing
Utilize software such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid for estimating purposes
Review and negotiate bids with clients and vendors
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the construction industry
Monitor market trends to adjust pricing strategies accordingly
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating (Industrial Field)
Robust negotiation skills and ability to build relationships
Excellent project management abilities
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Nice-to-have Skills:
Experience in heavy construction projects
