The Golf service Attendant's primary function is to organize golf carts, clubs and golfers in preparation for play. Their main focus will be assisting the golf shop and the starters with the outside operation of the golf course. They will act as a guest service representative to all members and guests and will assist with any concerns and issues.
Duties and responsibilities
Follows proper opening and closing procedures of the Golf Back Shop
Assists with organization of tournaments and events
Ensures all equipment is cleaned before and after play
Maintains the fleet of the golf carts at all times
Ensures golfers are checked in before play
Maintains up to date knowledge on golf rates, programs, the Resort and amenities inventory
Assist with golfers’ equipment from the parking lot and bag drop area
Keeps patio, garage, range, and garden free from garbage and debris
Maintains the lost and found program
Completes all other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
High School diploma an asset
Previous experience in golf preferred, or equal knowledge of the game
Previous experience in a guest service role an asset
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
Able to exert in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
Visa Requirements: Must be eligible to work in Canada
