Job description:

Donair Dude Kitsilano is looking for closing shifts and weekend, who is hardworking, responsible, and enthusiastic Team Associates to join our growing team. If you enjoy working in a rapid-paced workplace, providing excellent customer service, and being part of a supportive team.

Duties
Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Prepare and assemble menu items including donairs, wraps, platters, and side dishes, and beverages.
Operate kitchen equipment safely, including grills, fryers, and ovens.
Maintain food quality and presentation standards.
Handle cash and electronic transactions accurately.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
Assist with food preparation, stocking, and inventory management.
Keep the kitchen, food counter, dining area, and workstations clean and organized.
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
Support opening and closing duties as required.

Qualifications
Previous restaurant or food service experience is an asset but not required.




Experience in a shawarma, donair, or quick-service restaurant is preferred.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to cleanliness, food safety, and quality standards.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must be at least 18 years old or older
Willingness to learn current procedures and take on additional responsibilities as needed
On-the-job training will be provided to motivated candidates with a strong work ethic.
