We are looking for a journeyman heavy duty trailer mechanic who has the ability to work on current trailer rig-ups, perform commercial vehicle inspections and service a wide variety of commercial trailers
Responsibilities:
Duties will involve completing services on heavy duty/commercial trailers as well as the repairs required to maintain the units
Must be able to complete AB commercial inspections on heavy duty trailers (current valid inspectors license required)
Proven ability to complete advanced repairs on all makes and models
Advanced experience using computer diagnostic tools
Education & Experience:
3rd Year to Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic
Must have both truck and trailer experience
AB Safety Inspectors Certificate required
Valid Class 1 with air an asset
Team player with a strong commitment to customer service
Demonstrated problem solving skills
Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn in-house programs
Ability to lift 75 pounds perform physically demanding duties
Must have good written and verbal communication skills
