Responsibilities
Conduct routine inspections of equipment and machinery to identify potential issues before they cause downtime
Perform repairs using a variety of hand tools and power tools, ensuring all work meets safety standards
Assist in the installation, setup, and calibration of new equipment or machinery upgrades
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used for accountability and future reference
Troubleshoot mechanical problems quickly and effectively to minimize operational disruptions
Collaborate with team members to prioritize maintenance tasks and coordinate scheduled downtime
Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure working environment at all times
Requirements
Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in maintaining industrial or manufacturing equipment
Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and other manual tools
Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively for various repair tasks
Strong problem-solving skills with an active approach to diagnosing issues promptly
Excellent communication skills to document work performed clearly and accurately
Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform manual labor as needed
Prior experience in a maintenance or technical role is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
