Now Hiring: Cook (Full time, Monday to Friday)
Location: Olly Fresco's 18 York Street
Hours: Weekdays only, early morning to mid-afternoon

We’re looking for a reliable and experienced Cook to join our Cold Kitchen team. This is a full-time position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in quality, consistency, and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:
Operate Rational Oven and other commercial kitchen equipment
Cut, chop, and dice vegetables as part of daily prep work
Prepare sandwiches, wraps, fruit packs, and salad bowls according to standardized recipes and portioning guidelines.
Label, date, and package all products accurately for distribution.
Rotate stations (sandwiches, salads, fruit packs, packaging) for balanced workload.
Assist in receiving and storing produce, proteins, and packaging materials.
Clean kitchen thoroughly at the end of each day
Collaborate with hot kitchen and other departments when items overlap (e.g., rice, proteins).

Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in a professional kitchen




Must have knowledge on the use of a Rational Oven.
Previous catering experience.
Proficient knife skills and food preparation techniques
Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
Must have a valid Food Handler Certificate
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy workplace
Team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
Punctual, dependable, and physically able to stand for long hours
