Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and safety regulations
Support cooking activities by following recipes and instructions from chefs or kitchen supervisors
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
Help with food handling procedures to ensure safe storage, portioning, and presentation of ingredients and finished dishes
Support serving staff by preparing orders for delivery or table service as needed
Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling with accuracy
Uphold food safety standards and assist in inventory management to ensure ingredients are stocked appropriately
Skills
Previous Indian food service experience, including kitchen work or restaurant roles, is highly valued
Solid customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude towards guests and team members
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety protocols
Experience with POS systems like Micros POS or similar for effective order processing
Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
