Position Summary:
Reporting to the Equipment Manager, the Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing and repairing heavy-duty civil construction equipment at remote jobsites.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostics on diesel engines, transmissions, drivetrains, brakes, and hydraulic systems
Repair or replace defective parts, components or systems on excavators, bulldozers, loaders, graders, hy-way tractors, trailers, and vehicles
Execute scheduled maintenance and recommend replacement parts or repair solutions
Adhere to all company safety protocols
Maintain a clean work area
Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
Ability to work safely, following established safety practices and procedures
Minimum 3 years experience maintaining and repairing heavy-duty diesel equipment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must be able to do moderate to heavy lifting
Must have a valid driver’s license

Pay Range: $27 to $46 per hour dependent on qualifications and experience
