As a Class 1 Truck Driver, you’ll operate a semi tractor with 53’ flat-deck trailers primarily throughout Nova Scotia. We're seeking motivated professionals with flat-deck experience, ensuring safety in operations, quality customer service, and compliance with transportation guidelines. This is a permanent position reporting to the Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
• Adhere to safety procedures while driving
• Pick, package materials according to specifications
• Load and unload trucks effectively
• Conduct vehicle inspections thoroughly
• Maintain accurate records and logs as required
Requirements:
• Clean Class 1 license with Air endorsement
• 2-3 years flat-deck driving experience
• Grade 12 education or equivalent
• Capable of performing heavy lifting
• Positive communication and mathematical skills
