Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. Previous Dental experience required. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and possess expertise in various dental procedures. This position offers the opportunity to work in a agile dental practice setting.
Duties:
Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
Prepare patients for dental work and ensure their comfort
Sterilize instruments and equipment
Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
Take and develop dental x-rays
Maintain accurate patient records
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant
Knowledge of Dentrix or similar dental software
Familiarity with Epic or other electronic medical records systems
Proficiency in CAD/CAM technology
Robust understanding of medical terminology
Experience in orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dental assisting is preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
