We have an opening for an Operations Analyst
Location: 15 Shoreham Ln Suite 101, Halifax, NS B3P 2R3
Position: Permanent Full Time- Monday- Friday
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Facility budget review and cost audit & analysis
Manage and reconcile Resident Billing & Resident Trust Account
Quarterly & Year End Reconciliations internally and for the Dept. of Seniors & Long-Term Care
Auditing Pension Reconciliation
Auditing Quarterly & Year End Accruals Adjustments
Others as requested
Qualifications and Competencies:
A degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent experience
Excellent and proven computer skills combine with robust knowledge of software packages including SAGE, Microsoft Office Suite
Able to work with minimum supervision
Must be able to perform a variety of tasks within time limited deadlines.
Robust reading, verbal and written communication skills, organizational, problem-solving, conflict resolution skills required
High attention to detail and possesses
Excellent organizational skills
Experience in Long Term Care and/or Unionized environments are an asset, but not essential
