Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality massage therapy services to clients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. This role requires a solid understanding of various massage techniques, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients regarding their needs and preferences.
Duties
Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and therapeutic massages.
Assess client conditions by reviewing medical histories and conducting thorough consultations.
Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly sanitized.
Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments or self-care practices.
Document client sessions accurately, including treatment plans and any relevant medical terminology.
Provide exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming setting and addressing any client concerns promptly.
Collaborate with other wellness professionals to enhance the overall client experience.
Experience
Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with a valid state license or certification.
Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs.
Prior experience in a spa or wellness center is preferred but not mandatory.
