The role includes not just ensuring the child's safety and well-being but also engaging in educational and recreational activities. Light housekeeping duties are also part of the job.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide nurturing and attentive care for the child
Plan and participate in educational and recreational activities
Prepare nutritious meals and snacks
Keep the living area clean and organized
Perform light housekeeping tasks (laundry, tidying up, dishwashing)
Maintain a consistent daily routine for the child
Communicate regularly with parents about the childs progress and any concerns

Qualifications:
Previous experience in child care or a similar role is preferred




Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities
Robust communication and interpersonal skills
Dependable, responsible, and trustworthy
First Aid and CPR certification is an advantage

Work Hours and Remuneration:
Full-time, $20 per hour for 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Some flexibility required for evenings and weekends
10 days of vacation annually or 4% vacation pay
