Our client in the Ottawa East (Casselman) area is looking for an Accounting Coordinator to join their growing organization on a full-time, permanent basis in a newly-open position. Duties
High volume AP—processing vendor invoices including coding, data entry, and verification
Prepare payments according to schedule and manage urgent payments when required
Processing and recording of Employee cash advances
Process AR—applying payments and monitoring aging
Respond to vendor inquiries and complete follow-ups in a timely and skilled manner
Reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, resolving variances
Posting of Journal Entries & working closely with the General Ledger, adjustments as needed
Support month‑end close by ensuring transactions are complete, accurate, and properly documented
Ensure compliance with internal policies
Provide administrative support as required
About You
Strong oral and written communication skills
Post‑secondary education in Business Administration (or equivalent)
3+ years of experience in full‑cycle Accounting
Strong problem‑solving skills, critical thinking
Highly organized, strong attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal skills, self‑starter, collaborative
About the Job
The salary for this prospect ranges from $55,000 to $60,000 based on relevant previous experience.
