About the Role

The Company is seeking an AVP, Investment Accounting to take on a pivotal role in the day-to-day ownership and oversight of investment data management, accounting, reporting, and analytics. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and robust controls of investment accounting processes across various reporting standards. This includes transaction processing, reconciliations, valuation governance, and financial reporting. The AVP will also serve as a senior technical leader, providing expertise in complex accounting and valuation issues, and will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement initiatives,



particularly in the adoption of AI-enabled tools for enhanced efficiency and scalability.

Applicants for the AVP, Investment Accounting position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a CPA strongly preferred. A minimum of 8 years' of accounting experience, with a focus on investments, is required. The role demands a deep knowledge of multi-basis reporting, particularly GAAP, STAT, Bermuda SFS, and EBS, and a proven track record in managing high-volume reconciliations and ensuring SOX/internal controls compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, and experience in fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Technical expertise in valuation governance, as well as experience with investment portfolio management tools, is also essential.
