Become a Clinician with the Arthritis Society Canada, focusing on supporting arthritis patients through a hybrid mode of care in the Greater Toronto Area. Deliver evidence-based rehabilitation strategies both virtually and in person.
The ideal candidate for this role is a compassionate Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist with a passion for improving patient outcomes. As part of the Arthritis Rehabilitation and Education Program (AREP), you will tailor rehabilitation services to meet patient needs, advocate for their access to care, and work collaboratively with other healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Utilize advanced rheumatology skills for rehabilitation
• Create and manage customized care plans for individuals
• Facilitate group education on arthritis self-management
• Document patient care thoroughly according to guidelines
• Foster partnerships to enhance service delivery
Requirements:
• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy required
• A minimum of 3 years relevant clinical experience
• Current registration with the College of Ontario
• Familiarity with virtual care platforms
• Access to transportation for client visits
