The General Accountant will be responsible for full-cycle accounting tasks, including month-end reporting, year-end activities, intercompany transactions, as well as bank and card reconciliations. Responsibilities:
Manage the month-end process
Assist in preparing the monthly financial package
Provide support for mid-year and end-of-year reviews
Prepare accurate and timely monthly journal entries
Handle intercompany transactions
Assist with the internal audit process
Generate aging reports
Perform other duties as assigned by the Controller
Requirements:
A minimum of two years of full-cycle accounting experience
Experience in the construction industry is considered an asset
A post-secondary degree in accounting or a related field is required
While not mandatory, candidates working toward their CPA designation are preferred
