Ballad is searching for a dedicated Safety Officer to advance our established health and safety program. This part time position involves maintaining COR certification, guiding safe work practices, and ensuring regulatory compliance. You will engage with employees and leaders to create a proactive safety culture while managing incident reporting and continuous improvement tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and enhance Ballad's Health & Safety Program
• Ensure compliance with Alberta Occupational Health & Safety laws




• Administer SiteDocs and digital safety documentation
• Deliver onboarding health and safety training for recent hires
• Monitor incident reporting and recommend safety improvements
Requirements:
• Minimum three years of safety experience
• Knowledge of Alberta health and safety legislation
• Background with COR-certified organizations
• Proficient in digital safety systems like SiteDocs
• Robust organizational and communication skills
