Our member, RJ's Mechanical , is seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Technician to join their team in Woodstock, ON . RJ's Mechanical is a local HVAC/R company that has been delivering honest, certified heating, ventilation, air‑conditioning and refrigeration solutions for homes, businesses and industry for over two decades.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems.
- Inspect HVAC systems and components for potential issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system problems.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and replacing filters.
- Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring.
- Test HVAC systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Follow blueprints, design specifications, and manufacturer instructions.
- Comply with all safety protocols and regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification or associate degree in HVAC or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as an HVAC technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and components.
- Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in using tools and equipment related to HVAC work.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
