Be a key player in fostering community ties as the Indigenous Relations Coordinator at Clark Builders. This role emphasizes relationship-building with Indigenous communities and managing key engagement initiatives across Western and Northern Canada.
As a critical member of the Indigenous Relations team, you will support the execution of Clark Builders' Indigenous Relations strategy. Your responsibilities include coordinating community engagements, workforce initiatives, and Indigenous procurement programs. You will work closely with both internal stakeholders and Indigenous communities to ensure program effectiveness and respectful interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate implementation of Indigenous Relations programs and strategic priorities
• Build respectful relationships with Indigenous communities and organizations
• Plan and prioritize community engagement activities
• Manage Reconciliation in Action Committee logistics and initiatives
• Ensure accurate reporting on Indigenous Relations metrics
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in related fields such as Indigenous Studies
• Robust organizational and interpersonal skills
• Experience with Indigenous communities preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
• Valid driver’s license and travel flexibility
