North Bay Regional Health Centre is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator to develop cutting-edge training programs within the Mental Health & the Law department. You will utilize your MScN and BScN qualifications alongside a minimum of five years in psychiatric nursing. This role requires strong teaching abilities, knowledge of recovery-oriented practices, and a commitment to excellence in nursing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and evaluate educational curricula
• Prepare and present educational materials based on adult education principles
• Collaborate with inter-professional teams and community stakeholders
• Provide clinical knowledge to support psychiatric recovery
• Uphold standards of nursing practice and safety protocols
Requirements:
• Current BLS and College of Nurses of Ontario Registration
• Minimum five years psychiatric nursing experience
• Master’s degree in Nursing required
• Knowledge of the Mental Health Act and forensic systems
• Excellent communication and leadership skills required
