We are seeking a dedicated, adaptable, and student-focused Teacher to join a specialized, contained 10-day Alternative to Suspension Program serving high school students with significant behavioral, social-emotional, and academic challenges.
Responsibilities
Provide targeted academic and behavioral support to students who are temporarily unable to participate successfully in their regular school program due to social-emotional or behavioral challenges.
Plan, prepare, and deliver differentiated instruction that addresses students' individual learning needs, strengths, and areas for growth.
Collaborate effectively with school teams, families,
and external partners to develop, implement, and monitor individualized intervention and support plans.
Manage ongoing case coordination and communication, including participation in regular case conferences and maintaining solid connections with students' home schools.
Support students' social, emotional, and behavioral development while facilitating successful reintegration into their home school or another educational setting in collaboration with the Special Education Technician.
