Key Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one peer support, guidance, and resource navigation for family members affected by mental health or addiction challenges.
Develop, coordinate, and facilitate family-focused support programs, including Family Recovery Journey, Family Support Group, and other initiatives.
Build partnerships with healthcare providers, community organizations, Indigenous partners, and treatment facilities to strengthen referral networks.
Assist with developing and maintaining family support resources, including website content, guides, and educational materials.
Monitor program outcomes, collect participant feedback, and report results to the Executive Director and funders.
Provide general office support, including answering phones and emails,
printing services, and ordering office supplies.
Qualifications
Lived experience as a family member supporting someone with mental health or addiction challenges.
Knowledge of recovery-oriented care.
Solid communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently.
A bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Health Sciences, or a related field is considered an asset but is not required.
Valid driver's licence required.
