The Saskatchewan Research Councils (SRC)



Facilities and Security team is seeking a Facilities Operator to provide general maintenance support for SRC facilities, including office spaces, labs, and industrial settings. This role serves as the go-to for assistance with minor maintenance tasks and facility requests. This role also requires some on-call and emergency out-of-office hours.

Accountabilities
Perform general building maintenance and trouble shoot issues with facilities related items such as doors, windows, and locks
Mount, hang, and secure objects on walls such as shelves, picture frames, and fixtures
Assemble furniture, including desks, chairs, and other office equipment
Assist with seasonal groundskeeping tasks
Maintain a safe and organized work workplace, ensuring all tools and materials are safely stored
Assist in setup and breakdown of SRC spaces for meetings and events
Monitor and report any larger maintenance needs to senior team members and managers
