POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Cité Rive Residence is located on the banks of the Rivière des Prairies, in the borough of the same name. It is a residential complex comprising 5 towers, with 850 apartments distributed throughout. Cité-Rive is currently offering a permanent position for a creative and passionate chef who wants to provide an exceptional culinary experience for residents. This is a full-time, permanent position, 40 hours per week, with daytime hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and one weekend out of two.

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Do lunch and evening service depending on the shift
Ensure that food is served adequately and hot
Partially manage inventories
Participate in cleaning common areas




Prepare upcoming menus

Food Services
Assemble plates of food
Contribute to the teams efforts to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dinning room(s)
Ensure and optimize quality standards in the use of food
Ensure the kitchen and equipment are kept clean according to established hygiene and cleanliness standards
Perform meal preparation while supervising and mobilizing staff in the kitchen
Perform other related duties
Take inventory of service materials and while adhering to the budgets, proceed with procurement if necessary

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Good team player
A proffesional studies dimploma (DEP) in institutional cuisine or equivelent
5 years of relevant experience in catering
