Position Summary The Ob/Gyn Sonographer Technologist will be responsible for performing a variety of obstetric and gynecological ultrasound examinations to aid in patient care and diagnosis.
Responsibilities Perform ultrasound examinations for radiologists, gynecologists, and other departments.
Produce high-quality images for treating and diagnosing patients.
Perform pelvic and endo-vaginal ultrasounds.
Prepare patients for examinations, ensuring their comfort and understanding of the process.
Utilize ultrasound equipment effectively, including adjusting machine parameters and optimizing images.
Obtain measurements, M-mode studies, Color Doppler, and Spectral Doppler information.
Review diagnostic ultrasound image quality.
Maintain a sterilized and disinfected environment.




Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Communicate effectively with physicians and nurses about findings and patient needs.
Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
Current registration with CMRITO.
Proven proficiency in OB/GYN sonography, including pelvic and endo-vaginal ultrasounds.
Robust knowledge of female reproductive anatomy and physiology.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient care skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
