Scope of the Position: Responsible for the planning and management of inventory for the CDCs and Branches. The planner ensures an adequate supply of product to service customer needs while minimizing working inventory investment by assessing demand activity. The planner will reflect demand changes in our planning systems to ensure high accuracy of forecast needs and ensure accuracy in inventory records, item usage history, and forecasting files.

Key Responsibilities:

Scheduling and Execution of Replenishment from CDC to:

Branch Network

Service Centers

On-site/Shutdown Trailers

Mobile Service Trucks

Surplus Stock Realignment between Branches, CDC, and Regions

Demand Forecasting/Management for Branches and CDC

New/Lost Business

Shutdown Planning Spring/Fall

Seasonal Product

Product change

Ensuring Locations Achieve Desired Customer Service Levels and Fill Rates

Perform Inventory Risk Assessment for

Flyer/Product Promotions

New Product Launch

Quantity Break Buys

On-time Large Discount Buys

Seasonal Product Booking Buys

ERP Master Data is Maintained and Accurate for

Product Master





Warehouse Product Master (Ordering Controls / Product Status / Safety Stock)

Warehouse Product Demand History Master

Product Line Master (Buy Lines)

Product Extended Unit Conversion Master (Units of Measure)

Extended Product Cross Reference Master (Supersedes / Subs)

Replenishment Master (Inventory Business Rule / Algorithm Table)

Resolve Unit of Measure Issues

Schedule Inventory/Purchasing Reports are On-time and Exceptions Reviewed:

Inventory Month End Processing

Monthly Average Inventory Calculation Report

Inventory Classifcation and Rank

Monthly Buy Line Review Cycle Calculation Report

Requirements

Possess excellent Microsoft Excel skills

Thorough knowledge of the Infor SXe system

Knowledge for Slimstock or Gains

Familiar with Cognos

Positive time management and communication skills are a must

Detail oriented

Logical and analytical thinker

Ability to analyze large amounts of data and provide solutions to inventory loss issues and to increase inventory accuracy.

Ability to work alone and in a team environment

5 Years+ Experience in Supply Chain

Travel Requirements
Up to 10%
