THE ROLE
We are currently recruiting for a Licensed 310T Mechanic to join a well-established environmental services operation in the Niagara Region.
This is a hands-on maintenance role supporting a fleet of trucks and heavy equipment. The successful candidate will perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and local roadside service to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform preventative maintenance on a fleet of heavy equipment and highway transport vehicles
Diagnose and complete major mechanical repairs to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently
Troubleshoot and repair powertrain, electrical, emissions, hydraulic, brake,
and suspension systems
Perform inspections, servicing, and general repairs as required
Provide roadside service and emergency breakdown support for local fleet operations
Utilize diagnostic tools and technical manuals to identify and resolve mechanical issues
Complete accurate service records, work orders, and maintenance documentation
Identify potential issues and recommend repairs to improve fleet reliability
Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment
Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures
Collaborate with the maintenance team to complete repairs effectively
REQUIREMENTS
10T Truck & Coach Technician License required
5+ years of experience as a Truck & Coach Technician preferred
Heavy-duty mechanic experience considered an asset
Experience working on highway transport equipment and construction equipment
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Experience with CAT equipment is a strong asset
Robust electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and diagnostic abilities
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
Safety-focused with strong attention to detail
