PARTNERS Family Services is accepting applications for the position of Clinical Counsellor to deliver services at our Humboldt and Wynyard locations. This position is a full-time, permanent position to commence August 2026.

PARTNERS staff provide a safe, confidential and welcoming environment that assists individuals and families to meet their immediate and ongoing needs. The Counsellor will primarily work with clients facing a variety of challenges including mood disorders, trauma, grief, conduct disorders, family disharmony, etc. in our Rapid Access Clinics.

Requirements

Appropriate post-secondary education and current registration with a recognized counselling governing body (e.g., SASW, CAPC, CCAC, etc.)

Minimum of two years experience in a counselling role, with established competencies in solution-focused therapy, CBT,



DBT or other recognized modalities

Proficiency in intake, assessment, file management, case planning, etc.

Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure coordination of services to clients

Strong teamwork capacity, highly organized, and capable of managing varied demands

Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and professional demeanor

Computer competencies

Clear Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector screening
