Locally owned and operated service rig company is seeking experienced derrickhands. Must have valid H2S Alive and First Aid tickets, a graduated driver's license, and a Fall Protection ticket. Preference will be given to those holding a Class 1A or 3A license. Prior experience on a service rig is required. We pay above the CAODC current rates and supply FR coveralls and related cleaning costs, as well as hard hats, safety glasses, and gloves. After six months of employment, you will be eligible for the boot allowance program. Our benefit program includes a company‑matched RRSP plan. This position is physically demanding and involves working in harsh weather conditions for long hours.
Responsibilities
Handle, sort, and move pipe, tools, and other materials on a service rig.
Manipulate sections of pipe in the derrick during removal and replacement of pipes.
Maintain equipment and perform housekeeping duties on the rig.
Assist in setting up, taking down, and transporting the rig and service equipment from location to location, and operate the pump truck.
Qualifications
Valid H2S Alive and First Aid tickets.
Graduated driver's license and valid driver's licence.
