As a Senior Analyst, Customer Insights & Analytics at Canadian Tire Corporation in Oakville, ON, you'll transform data into actionable insights that shape customer strategy and drive business growth. Responsibilities
Analyze customer and financial data to uncover trends and opportunities
Deliver performance analytics and insights for strategic initiatives, including loyalty programs
Create compelling reports and visualizations that influence decision-making across the organization
Apply statistical techniques (e.g., hypothesis testing, clustering, segmentation) to enhance insights
Partner with data teams to improve data infrastructure and reporting capabilities
Support cross-functional teams with analytics expertise and storytelling
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Mathematics)
3+ years of experience in data analytics
Retail or banking industry experience is an asset
Solid data skills: SQL, Python, SAS (certification is a plus)
Expertise in data visualization and experience with BI tools
Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop) and familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
Knowledge of statistical modeling and customer analytics techniques
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Proactive ownership of projects and ability to see tasks through to completion
Passion for data, technology, and continuous improvement
Comfort with emerging technologies and enthusiasm for AI-driven solutions
Compensation & Benefits
Broadband salary range: $64,000 – $106,000. Typical hiring range: $80,000 – $95,000. Comprehensive benefits and retirement programs, performance incentives, continuing education programs, career growth opportunities, product discounts, and mental health benefits of $5,000 per year for eligible employees and their families.
