As a trailer technician, you will be responsible for performing regular and preventative maintenance on transport trailers and conversion dollies. Candidates with three years of experience, along with knowledge of Solara heaters, are highly preferred. This role emphasizes compliance with safety regulations and efficient operation of diagnostic tools.
Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out preventative maintenance on van trailers
• Conduct safety inspections for commercial vehicles
• Test and inspect mechanical components including brakes
• Adjust and repair trailer frame,
body, and electrical systems
• Follow strict safety protocols and communicate incidents
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years experience in mechanical repair
• Safety inspection certification and journeyman ticket preferred
• Capable of basic math and proficient in English
• Complete set of hand tools required
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as a team
