Job Title: Health and Wellness Agent/Administrative Assistant (Workplace Accident Claims Management) Department: HR Location: Montreal, QC (HK K) Duration: months contract (possible renewal/conversion to full-time) Work Mode: hours per week, days in the office Purpose: The occupational accident claims specialist handles the administrative processing of files related to incidents, accidents, and occupational illnesses.
They are responsible for opening, monitoring, and updating files in accordance with legal requirements and the organization''s internal policies.
They work closely with health and wellness advisors.
The specialist in managing work accident files ensures the administrative processing of files related to incidents, accidents, and occupational illnesses.
Description: % Opening claims following a workplace accident in various commissions across Canada.
Data collection and drafting of reports.

Data collection and drafting of reports. % Contribute to the management of medico-legal cases, requests for medical expertise, and various logistical and follow-up tasks with commissions and medical clinics. % Contribute to the management of claims for occupational hearing loss.
Support the hearing health program across Canada (logistics, appointment scheduling, studies, etc.) Contribute to the management of claims for occupational hearing loss.
Support the hearing health program across Canada (logistics, appointment scheduling, studies, etc.) % Opening mail, scanning, and recording documents in IMS and VIP (declarations, medical certificates, accident reports, etc.)
Supporting the team in receiving emails for salary insurance claims.
Other administrative tasks, such as monthly absence schedules, hearing loss reports, statistics, etc.

Education: A DEC in Legal Technology or a Bachelor''s degree in Industrial Relations or any other related field would be an asset.
Competencies: years relevant experience in administrative management or occupational health and safety is an asset.
Knowledge of laws and regulations related to workplace accidents (, WCB, CNESST, WSIB, etc.) Proficiency in office software (Microsoft Office Suite) Rigor, organizational skills, discretion, and autonomy.
Excellent written and oral communication skills (bilingual) Non-Negoatiable Skills: Organized Collaborative Detail-oriented.
Technical skills that would immediately stand out: Medical office assistant Experience managing disability or CNESST files.
Languages: Bilingual (English & French) Candidates that may be of interest: Management of absence files (illness, disability, return to work) Recent graduates or those with training in occupational health and safety, or experience as a medical secretary or administrative assistant in a medical setting Junior profiles demonstrating a robust capacity for learning and a desire for advancement Proficiency with Excel and office software Ability to suggest improvement ideas Experience in human resources (administrative support), with an organized and collaborative profile Experience in administration required
