Hours: Full-Time, Monday through Friday, 9AM to 5PM

Property & Casualty Insurance Advisor

As a Property and Casualty Insurance Advisor, your mission is to assess each person’s unique needs, propose the most suitable coverages, and promote our personalized services. Your objective? Insurance Representative Job Responsibilities:

Provide service to clients’ changing insurance needs by selling auto and property insurance.

Establish productive working relationships with clients.

Develop base for long-term sources of clients.

Compile lists of prospects.





Determine clients’ particular needs and financial situations by scheduling fact-finding appointments and determining the extent of present coverage and investments.

Ascertain clients’ long‑term goals.

Develop a coordinated protection plan by calculating and quoting rates for immediate coverage action and long-term strategy implementation.

Communicate with adjusters.

Obtain underwriting approval by completing application for coverage.

Complete coverage by delivering policy, planning future follow-up visits, and evaluating needs.

Provide continuing service by providing direct deposit forms, processing changes in beneficiary, and analyzing policy loan applications.

Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.

Enhance insurance agency reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Insurance Representative Qualifications/Skills:

Prospecting skills

Robust communication skills

Education and Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

BA in finance, business, economics, or a related field is preferred





Provincial license- OTL or RIBO

Continuing education credits

Salary:
Base wage from $75,000- $80,000 plus opportunity for Monthly Production Bonus, and Annual Bonus
