One of the locations operates at a very high prescription volume, approximately 2,0005,000 prescriptions, making this an excellent environment for pharmacists who thrive in a fast-paced and highly organized setting.
Depending on the location and assignment, your responsibilities may include:
Dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently Reviewing prescriptions and assessing medication therapy Providing medication counselling and patient education Supporting Long-Term Care pharmacy services Participating in clinical pharmacy services Collaborating with physicians, nurses, healthcare professionals, and pharmacy teams Ensuring compliance with Ontario pharmacy regulations and professional standards Managing prescription workflow and prioritizing patient needs Maintaining accurate patient records using Kroll Supporting quality improvement and patient safety initiatives What We''re Looking For Licensed Pharmacist in Ontario Active registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists Previous community pharmacy experience preferred Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to patient care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt to different pharmacy environments and locations Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Comfortable working in a high-volume pharmacy environment Interest or experience in LTC and clinical pharmacy services is an asset Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a broader pharmacy team Why Consider This Opportunity?
