Randstad is seeking an experienced, proactive QHSE Manager to join a leading manufacturing team in the Edmonton area as a key member of the senior leadership group.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing, establishing, and driving continuous improvement across Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) systems and workplace culture.

Advantages Growth Opportunities Leadership Competitive Salary Health Benefits from First Day Responsibilities QHSE Leadership: Lead the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the organizations QHSE Management System.

Standards & Compliance: Conduct gap analysis and align internal systems with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.

Act as the main contact for regulatory agencies, clients, auditors, and contractors on HSE matters.

Risk & Incident Management: Lead accident, incident, and near-miss investigations using Root Cause Analysis (RCA); perform regular HSE audits, hazard observations, and risk assessments.

Audit & Client Liaison: Serve as the primary focal point for external customer audits, vendor due diligence questionnaires, and compliance reviews.

Training & Coaching: Provide ongoing QHSE coaching, training, and guidance to internal teams across all levels.

Develop annual QHSE goals, monthly focus topics, and internal awareness campaigns.

Quality Department Oversight: Direct and manage Quality Department personnel and daily operations.

Continuous Improvement: Recommend process enhancements and cost-saving initiatives while maintaining seamless workflow across all departments.

Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a dedicated QHSE position, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Education & Certifications:



Bachelors Degree or equivalent practical experience.

Recognized Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.

System Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of HSE Management Systems, ISO 18001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 frameworks.

Technical & Analytical Skills: Proven experience in process development, root cause analysis, non-conformance identification, and auditing.

Core Competencies: Strong leadership, coaching, and supervisory skills.

Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

High commercial awareness and strategic problem-solving skills.
