OverviewSr Business Systems Analyst - Treasury TechnologyOur client is a leading Canadian bank in downtown Toronto. They are seeking Sr Business Systems Analyst - Treasury Technology to join a growing team to help implement several new technology projects.Contract role, 12 months to start. Good chance to renewal. Location is downtown Toronto near TTC and GO. Hybrid work - in office 4 days / week. New role. Several positions open - BSA and Sr BSA. Target rate range $65-100hr, depending on level / experience.Key Responsibilities- Translate capital management business rules and data into detailed technology requirements, mappings, and controls, including requirement traceability matrices.- Author user stories and acceptance criteria using JIRA and Confluence.- Develop and maintain data lineage, catalogs, and control documentation to ensure transparency, compliance, and audit readiness.- Prepare test cases and plans; lead triage and QA activities to validate data and system integrity.- Conduct data discovery and profiling for critical capital data sources to ensure completeness, accuracy, and quality.- Perform hands-on work with data platforms, integration processes, and testing methodologies.- Create data and process flows using Visio, Confluence,



and similar tools.- Utilize SQL for analysis across large datasets and demonstrate understanding of big-data concepts.- Maintain a robust foundational understanding of financial products and their impact on capital management.Must-Have Qualifications- 5+ years/' experience & proven ability to translate business rules into technology requirements and maintain traceability in a large enterprise level environment.- 3+ years hands-on expertise in data integration, testing methodologies, and process documentation.- Robust Data/Data Analyst type experience with strong SQL and data analysis across large datasets.- Proficiency in creating data/process flows and maintaining governance artifacts.- Solid foundational understanding of financial products (capital markets, risk mgnt, liquidity risk, market risk, interest rate risk, capital management/ non trading market risk, asset & lability mgnt (ALM), quantitative risk, etc.)- Bachelor/'s degree in finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.- Strong verbal and written communication and stakeholder management skills.- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodsNice-to-Have Qualifications- 5-10 years experience as a BSA or technical BA- Experience with Credit / Liquidity risk, Capital Calculation Engines / QRM / Market risk technology implementation, TBSM, ALM- Familiarity with Axiom for capital reporting- 3+ years of experience in capital management technology, treasury systems, or related financial services roles- Past leadership experience- Past experience with enterprise level ETL, analytics and reporting systemsNoteG.G.
