This role is crucial for the success of the LVCTS project, focusing on training the Canadian Army on advanced military vehicles. The Indigenous Participation Manager will interact with company leadership and Indigenous organizations, spearheading community initiatives and ensuring fulfillment of the Indigenous Participation Plan requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate diversity-focused vendor programs for Indigenous communities
• Initiate and monitor Indigenous engagement strategies
• Report on the efficacy of engagement metrics to leadership
• Advise on community outreach, talent development,
and recruitment strategies
• Develop programs in collaboration with training and HR departments
Requirements:
• At least seven years in a related managerial position
• Proven experience with First Nations initiatives
• Robust cultural awareness and sensitivity
• Exceptional relationship management and communication skills
• English proficiency required; French skills an asset
