East Penn Canada is looking for a motivated and strategic professional to support and expand relationships within a portfolio of our key customers.
As a National Account Executive , you’ll deliver premium, white‑glove service to some of East Penn Canada’s most valuable accounts while identifying opportunities to grow and strengthen those partnerships over time. This role is ideal for a driven relationship‑builder who thrives in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.
When not travelling, the role is a 100% on‑site work model, based out of our Head Office location in Courtice, ON.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead the ongoing management of assigned major accounts, ensuring customer needs are met while uncovering opportunities for sustained growth.
Maintain consistent, effective communication with clients and stakeholders to ensure inquiries and issues are resolved promptly and professionally.
Identify and pursue business development opportunities within existing accounts to expand product adoption and increase revenue.
Oversee and execute sales, marketing, and training strategies across assigned national accounts to drive key initiatives and deliver measurable results.
Partner with internal teams to uphold quality standards, align on client requirements, and anticipate potential challenges before they arise.
Lead the development of marketing strategies and initiatives to accelerate sales performance and enhance profit margins.
Perform ongoing competitive analysis to identify, evaluate, and track competitors’ strengths, weaknesses, and strategic movements.
Support brand visibility by attending trade shows and industry events as required.
You will receive full product training, but a strong foundation and background in the following will set you up for success:
5+ years of progressive experience in national-level sales and/or account management.
Post‑secondary education in business, sales, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.
Experience in the battery, manufacturing, automotive, or industrial sectors considered a strong asset.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written,
with proven ability to deliver compelling presentations to senior leaders (directors, VPs, and executives).
Strong project and time management abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Proficiency with CRM platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and online inventory/sales management tools to manage accounts and analyze performance.
Proven relationship‑building skills with the ability to strengthen loyalty, engagement, and long‑term account satisfaction.
Adaptable and proactive, able to respond to changing market conditions and evolving client needs while identifying opportunities and solving challenges.
A collaborative team player and self‑starter with strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to achieve results independently.
Strong critical thinking and analytical skills to interpret market trends and customer behaviours.
Background checks will be required of the incumbent, and may include, but are not limited to criminal record checks, employment verifications, employment credit checks, driver's abstracts, and professional references.
Approximately 30% travel is required for this role, including occasional overnights and rare international trips for training or trade shows. Reminder: When not travelling, the role is a 100% in office work model, based out of our Head Office location in Courtice, ON.
Account Executives are required to use personal vehicles for business purposes and will be provided with an annual car allowance as part of their offer of employment.
