Kiwassa is seeking a passionate individual for a part-time contract position as a Seniors Program Worker. In this role, you will implement engaging activities, assess participant needs, and ensure safety while collaborating within a multicultural framework. Your contributions will help create a welcoming environment for seniors in the Hastings-Sunrise and Grandview-Woodland neighbourhoods.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement engaging activities for seniors
• Assess and tailor activities to meet diverse needs
• Ensure participant safety and uphold standards
• Collaborate with the Seniors’ Program Coordinator
• Maintain program records and participant documentation
Requirements:
• Post-secondary certificate in a relevant field
• Minimum six months in a service delivery setting
• At least three months’ experience working with seniors
• Emergency First Aid certification or equivalent
• Solid relationship-building skills in community settings
