What You'll Do You'll own the backbone: the APIs, data model, integrations, and systems that everything else stands on. A true generalist who's happiest owning a problem end-to-end.
Build core backend systems in FastAPI + PostgreSQL - APIs, data model, auth, org/permissions.
Handle the but critical parts: security, multi-tenancy, reliability, observability.
Drop into the frontend (React / TypeScript)
whenever the product needs it.
Ship new features day-to-day alongside the founders and make real architectural decisions.
We're on a modern, lean stack: React Router framework, TypeScript, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Pydantic-AI, Logfire, AWS.
Required Qualifications Mid-to-senior level of engineering experience.
Expert in Python; strong in TypeScript / React.
Have shipped and maintained real backend systems in production.
Go-getter mindset, personal agency, fast learner, excellent verbal and writing skills.
