Job Description Job Title: Senior Business Systems Analyst Wealth Management & SQL Location: Toronto, ON Work Model: Hybrid 4 days onsite/week Role Summary Seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to support the modernization of a portfolio management platform.

The role will lead functional analysis, requirements, system/data analysis, integration design, and collaboration with business and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities Lead functional analysis, requirements gathering, and solution design .

Create functional specifications, user stories, use cases, data mappings, and system flows .

Perform hands-on SQL/data analysis and reconciliation .

Analyze APIs, batch processing, event-driven flows, and system integrations .

Analyze legacy systems and define modernization/future-state solutions .

Trace end-to-end data across upstream, processing, and downstream systems.

Support production issue analysis and RCA .





Use AI-assisted tools for analysis, requirements, and documentation.

Partner with business, architecture, data, and engineering teams.

Required Skills 5+ years as a BSA, Technical Business Analyst, or Systems Analyst.

Strong SQL and data analysis skills.

Solid experience with functional specifications, data mappings, and system flows .

Experience with APIs, batch processing, and system integrations .

Experience with system modernization/transformation .

Wealth Management / Capital Markets experience.

Understanding of positions, transactions, valuations, and performance .

Strong communication and ability to work across complex enterprise systems.

Nice to Have: Agile / Waterfall experience.
