Drive youth entrepreneurship as a Youth Outreach Officer with the Native Fishing Association in West Vancouver. Support young Indigenous fishermen and fisherwomen through training, coaching, and financial assistance.

This full time position offers a 2.5-year contract, working on-site at NFA's Head Office. You'll engage with BC Indigenous youth, deliver workshops, and assist in developing business plans while addressing their unique needs. This role requires flexibility for travel to meet clients and delivers crucial outreach services.

Key Responsibilities:
• Act as a contact for young Indigenous fishermen and fisherwomen
• Deliver business training and workshops across BC
• Assist clients in loan applications and financial planning




• Provide one-on-one business coaching for fisheries
• Manage NFA database and report on program outcomes

Requirements:
• 3 to 5 years in the BC fishing or financial sector
• University degree or college diploma in relevant fields
• Knowledge of Indigenous cultures and challenges
• Experience with government programs beneficial
• Commitment to confidentiality and client trust
