In this permanent position reporting to the Senior Gaming Analyst, you will engage in compliance monitoring, investigations, and audits related to gaming activities in the province. Your role requires familiarity with the Gaming Control Act, as well as skills in data analysis and regulatory enforcement. You will conduct inspections, research testing standards, and evaluate new gaming technologies to uphold standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Enforce the Gaming Control Act and monitor compliance
• Conduct audits and inspections of gaming activities
• Analyze suspicious transactions and AML reports
• Collaborate with law enforcement on compliance issues
• Assess current gaming technologies and systems
Requirements:
• Minimum of 7 years' related experience
• Understanding of legislation and regulatory compliance
• Strong judgment and communication skills
• Experience in investigations and compliance monitoring
• Proficiency in database and spreadsheet software
