Epiroc is looking for an Electrical Designer to shape heavy-duty battery systems on-site. This role centers on electrical system design for mining and construction applications.
As an Electrical Designer, you will engage in collaborative projects while ensuring the safety and functionality of electrical systems. This position requires at least two years of relevant industry experience and expertise in functional safety application under IEC EN 61508. You will work with diverse teams, focusing on innovative solutions for sustainable technology in the mining sector.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design electrical systems for diverse projects
• Ensure function and safety compliance of systems
• Collaborate with global multi-disciplinary teams
• Develop technical documentation and simulations
• Identify and mitigate project risks effectively
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years industry experience
• Experience with IEC EN 61508 standards
• Degree in Engineering or relevant field
• In-depth knowledge of electric drivetrains and battery systems
• Familiarity with MATLAB and Simulink tools
