As a Machine Shop Technician at Collins Aerospace, you will report to the Machine Shop Supervisor. This role requires a minimum of three years of Boring Mill machining or equivalent experience. Key skills include CNC programming, quality assurance, and meticulous inspection of machined components.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform manual setups using CNC programming language
• Maintain tolerances and make machine offset adjustments
• Document quality logs and report discrepancies
• Work from set-up sheets, manufacturing sheets, and drawings
• Support continuous improvement and 5S activities
Requirements:
• High school diploma and 3 years of Boring Mill experience
• Proficiency with measuring equipment for quality assurance
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Eligible to work in Canada, ITAR compliance required
• Experience with overhead cranes preferred
